Adding a password to your account

Tired of magic-links? Here's how to set up a password instead

Hey there,

For security and ease, we use magic links (i.e. emails with log-in links) to provide access to your account.

These work great for most people, but we know it's not for everyone.

So here's a quick guide on how to set up a password as well.

How to set up a password

  1. Go to the log-in screen and type in your email
    ​

  2. On the next screen, click on 'Forgot password?' (see image below):

  3. We'll send you an email to 'Reset' your password.
    ​

  4. Check your email - the subject will be something like '(re)set your password'
    ​

  5. Click on the link, follow the short instructions, and voila! You've now set up a password for your account

Some notes

  • People using the app on their phones or tablets may have issues with magic links redirecting to their device browsers. If this is the case, revert to using passwords.

  • You can use both passwords and magic links for your account.
